Scholarship Description. Applications are invited for PhD research scholarship to study ISCOMATRIX ® (IMX) adjuvant using use molecular modelling and physical chemistry methods. IMX vaccines are a new class of vaccine with great potential for the prevention of diseases such as HIV and for the treatment of cancer and chronic infections such as Hepatitis B. They are currently under active development by CSL Ltd. The project will use both high-performance computing and experimental studies and will involve close collaboration with researchers at CSL.

This scholarship is offered dependent on funds to one person. Open for applications from January 1, 2009 until June 30, 2009.
Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD20427 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: CHEMICAL SCIENCES or MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 1, 2009 and no later than December 31, 2009.
Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. You must be over the age of 18. There are no restrictions on citizenship.
